African Batik Batik, Elephant, Guinea Fowl, Fish, in colors of brown, gold and white colors, with geometric abstract, tribal designs. This textile was handmade in Zimbabwe using traditional natural dyes and fabrics bringing elements of the earth to this tribal design. This batik is finished with fringe at the top and bottom.

This is an amazing, traditional Zimbabwe designed Batik Tapestry

The symbols and images throughout the traditional Zimbabwe Batik, show the individual artist’s perception of art and their environment.

As this textile is handmade by a family in Zimbabwe, and not in a factory, there are slight splotches of paint, some uneven lines and other signs of original art. This can be seen when zooming in on the photo.
